I have seen several other comments about what wordpress plugins can, can't or shouldn't do, and they seem to use different definitions to you. It's also not clear from your reply whether the version available on wordpress.org also phones home, as you chose only to refer to the pro version. Maybe you could clarify?
However, I asked about the reported security vulnerability and the article I referred to (it's even in the link title) refers to the weakness existing in version 2.0.22, or at least seems to. That's the version available on here today, isn't it?
I presume from your snotty "maybe you can take another look" that you intended to say something along the lines of 'yes, there was a security vulnerability in versions xxxxx but this was fixed in version xxxxx"?
It doesn't actually say that anywhere as far as I can see, but as your reply suggested, maybe I'm just stupid.
